Kintsugi Collection

FIRECLAY KITCHEN SINKS

A bold fusion of art and utility, the Kintsugi Collection is inspired by the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer mixed with powdered precious metals.

Unlike pottery, our sinks are not broken and pieced back together—rather, artist Trevor Waring uses a rotary tool to create unique and intricate patterns filled with precious metals.

Each fireclay apron-front sink in the collection features a unique Kintsugi-inspired design, with “strokes” and “scars” available in three expressive styles to match your design aesthetic. Designers can also choose from inlays of Gold (23-carat), Fine Silver (99.9% Silver), or Copper to create a striking centerpiece in their next kitchen project.

As with all Thompson products, customization is available to ensure each sink is as personal as it is functional. Click here to learn more.
